Geriatrician (M/F)

Santé Staffing Médical is seeking a Geriatrician (M/F) to join a multi-purpose rehabilitation unit located in the Bas-Rhin region, near Strasbourg. The position is available as soon as possible as a temporary replacement with the possibility of extension depending on your availability. The work environment: - You will be joining a local hospital recognized for the quality of its care and its multidisciplinary organization. - The facility has a full range of technical equipment and a significant activity in geriatric medicine and rehabilitation care. - The multi-purpose rehabilitation unit has 25 inpatient beds, including several designated palliative care beds. - You will work in collaboration with a dedicated multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, dietitians, and social workers. Your responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive medical care for elderly patients with multiple health conditions - Participate in the rehabilitation, regaining of independence, and development of patients' care plans - Coordinate care with nursing and paramedical teams - Conduct multidisciplinary geriatric assessments - Participate in medical staff meetings and departmental meetings - Maintain contact with families regarding patient follow-up and referrals Conditions: - Position available immediately - Possibility of extension - Personalized support from Santé Staffing Médical throughout the assignment - Compensation: ~€450 net/day
