Beginner accepted; Doctor of Medicine, registered with the French Medical Council; Holder of a DES in public health or, failing that, a diploma in public health or medical information; Knowledge of the operation of health establishments, the rules of production of the PMSI and the processing of medical information; Experience in PMSI, in medical care and rehabilitation, and/or in database processing (R, SQL, etc.) would be an asset.
For one of our clients, a university hospital in west-central France, we are seeking a Medical Information Specialist (MIS). The Medical Information Department (MIS) of the university hospital comprises, for the legal entity, 7.7 FTE physicians, 32.3 FTE medical information technicians (MITs), 3 FTE data managers/scientists, and 0.5 FTE executives. PMSI coding is fully professionalized across all sites. The MIS is also responsible for the health data warehouse (HDW), representing 3 FTEs of the aforementioned staff. Due to the departure of a physician, the University Hospital of Poitiers is currently recruiting a full-time Medical Information Specialist. Responsibilities: - Training, monitoring, and support of healthcare professionals in clinical departments regarding PMSI - Training and supervision of the MIT team - Regulatory monitoring - Control and improvement of the quality of medical information; - Transmission of PMSI data to supervisory bodies - Analysis of activity (departments, departments, supervisory bodies, etc.) - Methodological support for data studies, particularly via the EDS - SIM liaison for certain departments. Within the framework of the GHT (Groupement Hospitalier de Territoire - Territorial Hospital Group), there is the possibility of working at one of the group's sites. The Medical Information Service works closely with all departments of the institution.
